Terms of Service

How I use this space.

A short, honest agreement about visiting this website — what it is, what it isn't, and how we relate. Therapy itself runs on a separate set of agreements, signed when you become a client.

Terms of service details

01

Acceptance of terms

By visiting this website (the “Site”) operated by Dr. Lindsay Campbell (“I,” “me,” or “the practice”), you agree to the terms described here. If anything in these terms doesn't sit right with you, please don't use the Site.

These terms apply only to your use of the website. Therapy itself is governed by a separate written agreement (informed-consent and treatment paperwork) that you'll receive and sign when you become a client.

02

Using this website

You agree to use this Site only for lawful purposes:

  • To learn about my practice and approach.
  • To schedule a consultation call or send a message.
  • To access publicly available resources I've shared.

Please don't attempt to disrupt the Site, scrape it for commercial reuse, or impersonate me or my practice. If you spot a bug or vulnerability, I'd genuinely appreciate a heads-up via the contact form.

03

Therapy is separate from this website

Visiting this website, browsing it, or submitting a contact form does notcreate a therapist-client relationship between you and me. That relationship begins only after we've had an introductory call, mutually agreed to work together, and you've signed the practice's consent and treatment paperwork.

The website is a starting point. The actual therapy relationship is built deliberately, with paperwork and conversation, after we've decided we're a fit.

04

Not medical or legal advice

Information on this Site is provided for general educational and informational purposes. It is not medical, psychological, psychiatric, or legal advice, and should not be relied upon as such.

If you're facing a clinical concern, please speak with a qualified licensed provider. If you have a legal concern, please consult an attorney. Reading something on this Site isn't a substitute for either.

05

Emergencies

This Site is not designed for crisis or emergency communication. Messages submitted through the contact form are not monitored 24/7.

If you are in crisis, please call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or dial 911for emergencies. For non-urgent matters, please use the contact form and I'll respond within one business day.

06

Intellectual property

All content on this Site — text, images, design, layout, brand elements, and any blog or resource posts — is owned by the practice or licensed from third parties, and is protected by copyright and trademark laws.

You may read, share links to, and excerpt content (with attribution) for personal, non-commercial use. Please don't copy substantial portions, reuse content for commercial purposes, or modify and republish it without written permission.

08

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. While I take reasonable care to keep the Site accurate, secure, and up to date, I don't guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from every possible vulnerability.

To the fullest extent permitted by California law, my liability arising from your use of the Site is limited. I'm not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages — only direct damages, and even then only to the extent required by law.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be limited under California law.

09

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Site will be handled in the state or federal courts located in California.

If any portion of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest will continue in effect.

10

Updates & contact

I may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated date at the top of the page. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the revised terms.

Questions or concerns about these terms? Please reach out through the contact form. I'll respond personally.

Questions about these terms

Something here that doesn't sit right?

Reach out and ask. I'd rather explain something twice than have you wondering — these terms should feel understandable, not slippery.
