Morning quiet
A slow start with tea and a journal. The day works better when I begin by listening.
You're not looking for a quick label. You want someone who will actually listen, dig into the full picture, and give you a clear path forward. That's exactly what I do.
Licensed Psychologist · PSY35915·BCBA·Neurodiversity-affirming

“Lindsay.”
Ph.D., Magna Cum Laude · BCBA
I'm a Licensed Clinical Psychologist (PSY35915) and a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), specializing in comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological evaluations across the lifespan — children, teens, and adults — alongside individualized therapy and forensic / IME work.
My training is grounded but unusual in its breadth: a Doctor of Clinical Psychology (Magna Cum Laude), a Master's in Applied Behavior Analysis, and advanced training in school neuropsychology. I also serve as an Assistant Professor of Behavior Analysis at National University.
I'm a queer, neurodiversity-affirming clinician — proud to provide a safe, inclusive space for all clients, including LGBTQ+ individuals and families. My work is grounded in clinical precision, deep compassion, and a commitment to creating clarity in even the most complex diagnostic questions.
My practice is built on the foundation of genuine human connection. I move away from rigid, overly pathologized frameworks, leaning instead into a space where you can unfold naturally.
We explore the nuances of your story with curiosity rather than judgment. It's about creating a living-room atmosphere — warm, grounded, and deeply intentional.
I follow your pace, not a treatment manual. We move at the speed of what feels safe.
We get curious about patterns, the inner critic, and your reactions — without making them wrong.
Mind, body, history, and present life are all connected. We treat them that way.
The rituals and small things that keep me grounded — so I can show up steady for the people I sit with.

California's edges are my favorite. Salt air and a long shoreline put everything back in proportion.
Always a stack: writing on attachment, a poetry collection, and a novel I'm half-rereading.

A ritual of nothing-much: family, a film, a long bath. Rest is a practice, not a reward.
“Healing isn't about fixing what is broken. It's about staying close to what is hurting until it feels safe to breathe again.”
