Applicants must currently be registered as a Psychological Associate with the California Board of Psychology.
Bring your interest in both assessment and therapy to a growing Long Beach practice. As a Registered Psychological Associate, you will help patients gain clarity through testing and support them through individual therapy.
This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position for someone interested in working in both psychological/neuropsychological testing and therapy under the supervision of Dr. Lindsay Campbell.
What you'll do
- Carry and maintain a caseload of approximately 20–30 therapy clients per week
- Conduct clinical interviews
- Administer and score psychological and neuropsychological assessments
- Assist with assessment documentation and reports
- Provide individual therapy
- Complete progress notes and clinical documentation in a timely manner
- Participate in supervision and case consultation
- Work with children, adolescents, and adults
What we're looking for
- Current California Board of Psychology Psychological Associate registration
- Experience or strong interest in both testing and therapy
- Reliable, organized, and able to manage a full-time caseload
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Comfortable working with neurodivergent patients
- Experience with Autism, ADHD, learning, developmental, and neuropsychological evaluations is a plus
